Summary:

In this trial, Endurocide® Antimicrobial Plus Curtains material and untreated polypropylene were both tested to determine their bactericidal properties against gram positive, gram negative and spore forming bacteria.

Testing method

Samples of both fabrics were inoculated with the microorganisms and imprints were taken on agar plates after 1 minute and 30 minutes.

Norway report: Hospital University Study

Summary:

In this trial, Endurocide® Antimicrobial Plus Curtains were compared with untreated traditional cotton curtains to test their bacterial loading.

Testing method

Endurocide® Antimicrobial Plus Curtains and traditional cotton curtains were hung on opposite sides of the same ER ward. After 10 days, swabs were taken from the edge of each curtain at the natural point for drawing. These swabs were tested for Staphylococcus aureus.
